Two Canadian engineering wizards with a passion for cycling: Phil White and Gérard Vroomen. How engineering-driven? Before the 2009 Amgen Tour of California, the company’s technical team had more than 20 time trial bikes on hand to test at the San Diego Low-Speed Wind Tunnel. Lance Armstrong may have a book titled “Every Second Counts”, but this company has to rank first on efforts to shave very possible second off time trials and triathlon bike splits over any other competitor in the business.
