Seven
Seven – One Bike. Yours.
Founded in 1997, U.S.-based Seven Cycles builds in Watertown, Massachusetts. Founder and president Rob Vandermark and his team have been working with titanium from the beginning of its introduction to the cycling industry. Seven’s claim to fame: it’s the largest exclusively custom frame builder in the world. Its 35 employees include designers, engineers, welders, machinists, and finishers, as well as the necessary marketing, sales, and general and administrative staff. The company focuses on the use of 3/2.5 “domestically sourced” titanium, high-modulus carbon fiber, filament-wound carbon fiber, and the world’s finest steels in building its custom frames. Seven uses something it calls the Seven Fit Methodology (SFM™) to marry rider to bike. The company sells both domestically and internationally.
