One of the greatest things about professional bike racing are the national champion stripes. Winning your country’s road race or time trial gives you bragging rights for a year that you wear on your sleeve. Or in the case of this skinsuit for David Zabriskie, your entire body. David’s a character with a sense of humor unlike any other professional cyclist, but he also has a serious side born out of a bad crash. His non-profit Yield to Life aims to educate and raise awareness about cycling and safety for both motorists and riders alike. Wishing you a great week of riding or resting or just hanging out and watching Le Tour. Be happy and be safe.

- Staying safe I got a nice email from the folks at Yield2Life earlier this month after sharing a tweet about a crash. I promised I would expand on the experience in a few “micro chapters.” The hope: lessons can be learned and used by other cyclists to avoid the same fate. Any...
